Schools should not ever have closed meetings. Every eligible parent should be able to attend. You as a parent are paying for that school whether public or private.

Nobody really is going to care if you or I get a traffic violation. There should be officer/citizen confidentiality. If I or my attorney need that footage, we can acquire it. Fuck social media.

That is a good start; only have the requests focus on specific details. Request for Hillary's emails, get her emails. I partial agree on the cost factor: request one thing, no problem; requests a ton of things, pay for the expense of it. You being involved and requesting my traffic stop footage is one thing; left-wing groups going after Republican candidates need to be curbed and billed. There is a difference between a minor personal request and all out political warfare.
