Some  background. Reps hold the house  of delegates  52-48 and dems  hold the  senate 21-19. Sen Peterson, dem, authored the  bill dems are using to continue the  mask mandate. He  has  come  out and said he WILL vote to end the  mandate legislatively. That  makes the senate  20-20(assuming no other dems vote to end  it). Sears, the Lt Gov, would then break the tie.

Every small step is helpful. There has to be a beginning to every stampede.

Another difference  had MacAuliffe been elected  instead  of  Youngkin. We would  have mask mandates  in every school and a statewide  mask mandate  for everyone. Most  school districts  have already voted to end the  mandate  after Youngkins EO.

As Obama reminded us, elections do have consequences.
