Here is the original meme.

Here is you original response:
QuoteLike other things  it was closed other than non-essential travel.

So prove the border was closed, as in NO ONE ALLOWED IN.

Zen can't even lie correctly. "Non-essential" is what we are saying happened: illegals were allowed across the southern border, especially during Covid lockdown.

Prove to CPF that the southern border was closed during Covid, and was illegals from prevented from entering the USA.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

I am confused by everyone's confusion.  The US disallowed non-essential travel from Mexico/Canada to the US.  Commerce from Mexico/Canada to the US was one of the items that was viewed as essential.  Americans coming back from Mexico were permitted to return, obviously.  The US also implemented Title 42, which allowed asylum seekers/migrants to be turned away at the border due to covid concerns.

Mexico, as far as I know, didn't have any restrictions for travel from the US to Mexico. I don't know about restrictions for people entering Canada.

And to add to YOUR confusion, even with the travel restrictions massive numbers of illegals kept crossing the border with NO CHECKS to see if they were infected. No one paid attention to this problem crisis until Abbott started busing illegals to sanctuary cities. This is what the meme was referring to, the border was never closed to illegal entry, Biden's policies were not even supposed to slow down the illegal numbers.  Stop acting like a dumbass.

And yet Title 42 was consistently used to turn people away.  In fact, I believe it was kept in place because it was such a useful tool to turn migrants away.

If they're going through the ports of entry, and using the correct asylum procedure, they aren't entering illegally.  It's a legal process.

They are pouring across the border, stop acting as if this is not happening. The Biden administration has done nothing to stop it. Stop acting stupid.

Biteme couldn't legally overturn Title 42 that Trump put in place, he had to let it expire.

You are the one moving the goalposts. The meme was about the fact that NO EFFORT was made to seal our southern border during the pandemic. EVERYONE BUT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THAT! Damn kid, grow up.

Your interpretation of the meme is noted.  Given that the meme didn't ACTUALLY say legal or illegal crossing, my response is still accurate.

Wrong, you know nothing. The Biden administration did nothing to shut down the illegal crossings.

Does it matter if it were legal or illegal? If Covid was that bad of a situation, then it shouldn't have mattered  if the person wanted to escape Mexico nor be saved by America. Stop the "unknown" factor. Anybody coming from or going through a third world country is an unknown factor. The border should have shut down and sealed for the time frame of Covid.

What was their vaccination status? Did they wear masks and gloves like most of did? Were they prevented from going to events? Were their businesses and events shut down because of Covid?

Nearly 3 million migrants were turned away under Title 42.  Migrants, once they are screened and allowed into the country, would have to follow the same rules as anyone else in the state they're in.
