Absolutely! We had the best government in the world when they were farmers, workers, shop owners. They served their country and then went back to their lives. Now we have a congress full of people whose only claim to fame is getting rich off the tax payer.

I can't find it on the web, but I remember learning that Stalin pulled a fake coup to see if his enemies would show themselves by joining the effort.
