QuotePoliticians will be banned from working as news presenters under a crackdown from Ofcom, as the regulator seeks to tighten rules following a High Court row with GB News.

The media watchdog confirmed on Monday that MPs will be banned from presenting the news on "any type of programme", whether that be on TV or radio.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street I'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.
This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.
How come nobody was interested in educating people about these rights until online videos got monetization?

QuoteThe Office of Communications, commonly known as Ofcom, is the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, internet, telecommunications and postal industries of the United Kingdom.

QuoteSince 1 January 2021, Ofcom has defined hate speech as "all forms of expression which spread, incite, promote or justify hatred based on intolerance on the grounds of disability, ethnicity, social origin, sex, gender, gender reassignment, nationality, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, colour, genetic features, language, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth or age."[61] However, there is concern that Ofcom's broad definition of hate speech can easily result in the unjustified censorship of controversial opinions, however legitimate they might be.

QuoteOfcom has received criticism for incurring unnecessary costs as a result of "extravagant Thames-side offices" and a "top-heavy salary bill", for inflexibility in its regulation of commercial radio, and for "poor service".

Ofcom is the UK's FCC. Sounds like the UK needs D.O.G.E. since this government agency is sucking up taxpayer funds to live high on the hog and control every form of communications and control what you watch, listen, read, write, or speak.

White people are being punished for reciting elicit rap lyrics, as a fan would do since they like the song. Also being punished for daring to call out Islam.

Ofcom was official since 2001. But at least from the 60s the BBC and government were working hand in hand to shut down pirate radio ships. The same equipment on a boat is somehow different the same equipment in a land based radio station. Even in the 90s, they were shutting down underground electronic music stations that only had a nearby range. How dare these "jungle bunnies" list to that literal "Jungle" music.

Radio Caroline established the modern day radio format (the presentation of popular hits). Bad news is they created the modern day radio format. The next time you listen to the radio, these dudes (and chicks can't shut up when you just want to listen to a song (even the intro).

To watch BBC, you need a TV license. They contract a third party company to hound you if you don't have a license at your address. No matter how it is handled, they keep coming back. They are the worse door to door people ever. This eventually includes getting a warrant to enter your property to inspect you TV.

Somebody reviewed one day's programming of one of BBC's channels a few years ago, and it was all crap (worse than our crap).
