Libertarians select gay, Antifa-loving, Trump-hating, vaccine mandate-supporting, open borders enthusiast as their presidential candidate





In the final round of voting at the Libertarian national convention, Oliver won with 60 percent of the vote, clearing the majority threshold to secure the nomination for the 2024 election. The voting itself took more than seven hours and seven rounds of elimination voting before Oliver got the nod from his party. Oliver beat out closest contender Michael Rectenwald, a former NYU professor, to take the nomination.

During his victory speech, Oliver said, "I will continue to bring a hopeful and positive message of liberty to both those who consider themselves libertarian and those who don't know they are libertarian yet." He also pledged to his party cohorts that "we can set the world free in our lifetimes" and would end the "genocide in Gaza."

Oliver called Trump an "authoritarian" and said that other Libertarians should not unite with him at the head of the Republican party. He also did not want him to address the convention unless he would stand to debate the Libertarian nominee.


Oliver has also defended Antifa, the leaderless group that wreaked havoc across the US during the George Floyd riots of 2020 and is the force behind the ongoing Atlanta Stop Cop City protests, which he also supports.

Looks like the Libertarian party and the Democrat party are neck and neck to see which party will become the most irrelevant. Both parties are chasing after segments of society which contribute nothing to mankind. You can not build a society that functions with people who only know how to stand in the streets screaming look at me, look at me.

Libertarian philosophy has been, government exists to protect people from others' aggression.

Could be wrong, but I recall, or think I recall, libertarians thought "honorable" people did not need a government to dictate to them what was right. Government was to be very limited. Now they do not want a government to get in their way of any immoral behavior, nothing about honorable people anymore.

Libertarians have always been the party of "Do as you like as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights".
All the while allowing evil to grow in their backyard.

The Bay Area was a great target because San Franciscans were the epitome Libertarian society, 'Do as you like, as long as it doesn't negatively effect me', so all lifestyles were accepted, 'Live and let Live'.

The Bay Area is Proof that Libertarianism is doomed to failure wherever it is applied, because human nature will always seek the path of least resistance and the Marxists took advantage of the good people of San Francisco and destroyed it. Look North to Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington, again, used to be great Libertarian societies, now, leftist Hell holes.
