61% for a candidate that some  on this forum will tell you does not have a chance to beat a demented old fool whose own party does not want him. To me, that is the clincher that they are liberal. there is a reason they do not want Trump to be the nominee, it's that 61% who are backing him. There is a reason I do not ask DeSantis people if they will vote for Trump when he wins the nomination, because they are voting for Bide/Harris.
As for the parties working with each other, let's discuss how the democratic party "worked" with the republicans to confirm Trump's choices for SCOTUS first.
If CBS is polling 61%, the real number must be closer to 75%. What are the others running for? '28?

Exactly, that's why I posted this. We all know CBS is about as far left as they can get.
DeSantis has pretty much been on a steady decline since his disastrous launch. :bigl :bigl :bigl :bigl

Like everyone else, we don't trust polling, but when the divide is that of the distance between Earth and Mars, we take notice.

DeSantis is closing in on third place. He'd be better off watching his back.
QuoteAccording to the latest Echelon Insights survey, conducted June 26-29, Ramaswamy stood at 10 percent, with the former president at 49 percent and the Florida governor at 16 percent. Former Vice President Mike Pence grabbed the fourth slot, at just five percent. Ramaswamy has also seen a significant rise in both name recognition and favorability in Morning Consult's latest weekly survey.

If one listens to Ramaswamy he has some solid thoughts. Obviously, he does not have a chance, but he he adds to the debate.

I love the guy, but sadly he isn't a Natural born Citizen. But still beating DeSantis is sweet, none the less.

Quote"Well, I think if you look at the people like the corporate media, who are they going after? Who do they not want to be the nominee? They're going after me," he said Thursday on Fox News.
"I think if you look at all these people that are responsible for a lot of the ills in our society, they're targeting me as the person they don't want to see as the candidate," he continued.
The media is going after DeSantis? Has this guy been paying attention? Did nobody tell him about the Russian Hoax and all the other lies? Does he have fake charges filed against him? Or is he just crying because as people find out more about him they turn to someone else?

Too damn Funny!
Aside from coming off as a bit fascist, the guy simply isn't likeable.
Trump has a base for a reason, he's proven himself, and Ron, like every leftist out there, praise Trump as long as it helped their own career.
Now he's seen for the little backstabber he is, and any chance of seeing a 2028 run, just dumped his worthless ass on the cemetery of RINO Traitors.

When he is as far behind as he is, one would expect him to nibble away and gain a few points. I expect all the bottom dwellers to be able to pick up a point or two if this was a normal election. But this is Trump's, lock, stock, and barrel. And you're right, DeSantis is on the verge of ruining 2028. Six months ago I thought he would be worth watching in the future, not anymore.

Not only behind, but losing steadily since his failed announcement. He has only himself to blame, that and all his backers are leftists.
He can kiss higher office good bye for at least the next two decades, assuming no actual Conservatives run.
To think, a shitoad of Supposed "Conservatives" came out to back him, like McEnaney and a few others who tossed their careers away, and yes, I'm talking to you Levine!

In keeping with that thought, here is one hell of a softball question given yesterday.
Quote"What's going on with your campaign?" Bartiromo said. "There was a lot of optimism about you running for president earlier in the year." She spoke about the article calling it a "failure to launch." "What happened?" she asked.
There were several ways he could have answered this one from it is still way too early for people to be getting involved, to even acknowledging that the indictments on Trump helped Trump. BUTT NOOOOOO!
QuoteDeSantis laughed and said these were "narratives." "The media does not want me to be the nominee," he continued. "I think that's very, very clear. Why? Because they know I'll beat Biden. But even more importantly, they know I will actually deliver on all these things."
He has given this answer before, he has had time to think this over, plan his answer, tell them his own polls show vast improvement, come out on top. BUTT NOOOOO!
He gave the same chicken sh-t answer, blame the media. We know the polls are not pinpoint accurate, but knowing what Trump has suffered at the hands of the media, all the lies, DeSantis wants to play the victim? Does he think the media likes Trump? If he would win the nomination, is this what we could expect, crying? How about owning up to the fact they blew the launch and carry on from there? At this rate, DeSantis will not make it to the convention.

The Media is to Blame...? :bigl :bigl :bigl :bigl :bigl :bigl
This from the guy who has all of FUX Snooze carrying his water, the Establishments very media wing of the Uniparty.
The guy couldn't even get a bumper car to move at a kids fair with a bunch of kids running into him.
The RINO simply backed the wrong guy, as in "Scott Walker 2.0".

QuoteIn case you didn't notice, Ron DeSantis is trailing Donald Trump in Florida by a whopping 20 points. For DeSantis to have won a landslide gubernatorial reelection last November, that spread is stunning DeSantis supporters. His big money backers are grumbling. His cheerleaders in conservative media circles are hedging. Yes, it's a long way to the Sunshine State's presidential preference primary in March, but the governor owns a stellar record in Florida. He's popular, yet per polling, he's getting the stuffing kicked out of him by Trump in every demographic save those making $200 grand or more. Men, women, Hispanics, working and middle-class folk -- you name it -- are pro Trump. That indicates other problems for DeSantis that we'll address shortly.
QuoteA critical blunder that DeSantis is making is where his money comes from. His financial muscle is flowing from rich East-coasters.
Wild ass guess, after super Tuesday DeSantis will throw in the towel and pledge support for Trump while planning for '28. The big question will be, has DeSantis learned anything about the base?

The more I observe Ron, the more I believe he doesn't really know what Conservative actually mean.
He has issues with the Constitution.
