Hats off the Board of Regents of the state of Georgia University System. They have tweaked the tenure guidelines for professors. Of course, the leftist professors have thei panties in a wad.

I have never understood why university professors are a special class with a permanent "get out of jail free card".

They are overthinking this: if the professor teaches math, they should just teach math. If the professor teaches literature, they should just teach literature. ANY MENTION of ANYTHING POLITICAL, SOCIAL, or ANYTHING that fits in between, should and must be punished. NO MORE anti-White/pro-black, anti-American/pro socialist-communist-anarchist, anti-Capitalist/pro socialist-communist-anarchist, anti-Republican/pro Democrat-socialist-communist-anarchist, anti-science/pro-feelings, anti-decency/pro-LGBT, or ANYTHING that fits in between. Not even the MENTION of voting, because it is not their job to discuss voting.

Those evil professors are the ones to get rid of immediately, and not necessarily the lazy ones at first.

Agree. Lazy ones are usually harmless and sought out by students just desiring a degree.
