Hmm mm did not post.

Anyway , Black box has 2 minutes missing.

Yeah, the crucial minutes! I knew that was going to happen, they can't allow us to know what really happened.

This news article notes the 2 minutes of no data being recorded at the time the ship lost all power.  This sounds reasonable as the black box was powered by ship's power; similar to how aircraft black boxes are powered.  Likely not any battery backups in the ship system (might be required after this).

All have backup power, just like tracking beacons, so we can find them later.
Some use battery, many others use capacitors.

Here ya go. Note how they claimed it only recorded the radio when it "supposedly went out", but nothing else? They Lied!

The logs, released by the NTSB, show the ship lost power at 1.25am, triggering multiple alarms and forcing the VDR to switch to a backup power source.

Thanks for correcting my wrong assumption on the backup power. I think what also happened is that the devices that VDR was supposed to monitor were not functioning due to the power loss, and did not have any way to send the data to the VDR.  VDR does not power the sensors, just receives the signals.

From the article above:

"At 0124 hours, Dali was under way in the channel, making eight knots and steering 141 degrees. At about 0125, multiple alarms went off, and the VDR ceased recording the ship's electronic system data. Using backup power, the VDR kept recording bridge audio, and it captured the pilot's verbal rudder commands.

One minute later, at 0126, the VDR was able to resume recording the ship's electronic data. Shortly after - at 0126:39 - the pilot made a general VHF call for tug assistance. This was the first distress call from the vessel."

I am not convinced that this was a deliberate act at this point, but there is very much more to investigate.

You weren't the only one confused.
Yeah, the NTSB is to blame for claiming there was dead time on the VDR, which was a either a outright lie, or incompetence.
The VDR never stopped, other things sending it information did, but the VDR did its job.

The manipulation of this entire situation has been handled by the most incompetent people, on purpose, Hell, even Buttigieg blamed it all on racism.
The decade of DEI hires. Has made us the easiest targets in the world. It will only get worse, as planned.
