Look here

to escape any illusions towards Ukraine. This current regime in Kiev threatens to stay at war to divert attention of Ukrainians from their extremely low level of life. Ukraine may become comfortable place for living only due to EU huge donations and EU taxpayers' money. In civilized world such policy is called blackmailing.
I hope US Marines won't go to this war too. LOL

I'm not convinced this is real.  Maybe someone with a better eye for fonts, etc., can tell me...  It looks fake to me.

Not sure where to post this.
This is background information that appears accurate to someone as uninformed as myself. If anyone notices serious or controversial errors, please point them out. But, please, in the way of understanding and truth, not to force any position.

As we know, the Ukraine and the European Union are discussing membership for Ukraine. Some of us look at the open border policies of the EU and wonder that the EU might not be just another Utopian, one world scheme, with negative long term cultural implications. That is another story.

The 1932-1933 mass starvation is referred to as "Holomodor" by those who believe it was an intentional famine, created by the Soviets for political reasons.  With the board's permission, I would like to leave this up, as background, as those of us who are students in this matter continue to sort out the reality of these relationships which are: Russia, The Ukraine, and the EU, with America standing around watching.  One of the obstacles to understanding the American position is that we are not exactly sure where the loyalty truly lies in Washington, in particular, the Democratic National Committee and International Communism.

The Holodomor

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor

(Ukrainian, "Extermination by hunger" or,"to kill by starvation,") was a man-made famine in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1932 and 1933 that killed an estimated 2.5–7.5 million Ukrainians, with millions more counted in demographic estimates. It was part of the wider disaster, the Soviet famine of 1932–33, which affected the major grain-producing areas of the country. Millions of citizens of the Ukrainian SSR, the majority of whom were ethnic Ukrainians, died of starvation in a peacetime catastrophe unprecedented in the history of Ukraine. Since 2006, the Holodomor has been recognized by the independent Ukraine and many other countries as a genocide of the Ukrainian people carried out by the Soviet Union.

Scholars disagree on the relative importance of natural factors and bad economic policies as causes of the famine but believe it was a long term plan of Joseph Stalin, an attempt to eliminate the Ukrainian independence movement.

Much of the truth of this event has either been hidden from the world or denied by those responsible for it. Read more about this event:

Well, unusual format for an official letter.  No return address for the trade minister. But, it is treatment of the folds, both top and bottom, that give it that Adobe Illustrator look. It looks like they may have put it on the platen of a scanner or copy machine but did not close the door to make it lie flat.  The way the last lines are distorted does make it look like a real scan.  No expert, here, but a good question raised.

When I was in school I remember about hunger in US during great depression. Soup lines and food being destroyed, to keep prices high. Hunger in early 30s was happen not only in Ukraine,  It was also in Western Ukraine (that wasn't part of USSR at that time. There is theory, that high level of mortality happened because many village dwellers, were hiding grain in the ground, were it become infected with some kind of mold, that was toxic. Anyway, people, who think, that it was "hand made " hunger, they are... nothing, they are just normal western people, who generation, after generation were told horror stories about Imperial Russia, then USSR, then Putin's Russia, that it is just normal for them assume the worst, as long as it about Russia.

Hi all!

There is a question if financial aid to Ukraine has any sense.

It seems that Christine Lagarde doesn't think so. In her letter to PM of Ukraine Yatsenyuk she says that Ukraine hasn't managed to fulfill conditions of previous agreements required to qualify for receiving further financial aid.

I don't buy into ANYTHING coming out of Ukraine - without confirmation from someone that lives there ... for 2+ decades.
He says there is a mountain of garbage of information - little of it accurate.   Sorry, I'm not at liberty to say "who", "where", etc., unless he says YES - and you'd like to participate in a church planting.

A while back, a friend (ex-marine) was all excited about a Youtube video... from the Ukraine - an argument ensued over it's accuracy.   After the truth was explained, via long distance phone call, the gentleman explained, 'Don't believe ANYTHING, there is alot of crap coming from here.  Some people are playing on American's gullibility.'
All animals are created equal; Some just take longer to cook.   Survival is keeping an eye on those around you...
