You leave 'em on, in the Bush (SE Asian Jungle) you don't want to be taking off your boots, snakes crawl in them, spiders, bugs the size of gold balls.....all poisonous

Gold balls?  I knew what you meant.
My brother had a bad case of trench foot from his toes to his calf for that reason alone.
Sleeping in his fatigues and boots, his boots never dried out his entire tour.

A question out of curiosity. Where do military people put their boots at night when they're in the field? Do they keep them on? Isn't that bad for your feet?
It depends upon where you are sleeping at. What made you ask that question? That said you are right about one thing, never taking them off, is very bad for your feet. And is something you'll get into trouble for if you have to/wind up on what we used to call "sick call" back in my day, for feet problems as a result of never taking your boots/footwear off.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

Depends. In SoutEast Asia, on an Op, I never took them off. If we were in the "rear" (a firebase) I found some where dry, took them off and turn them upside down (loosened the strings, pulled the sides out wide). Still shook them before I put them on. During the rainy season, I never got out of the rain, and never got dry anyway, so why take them off. I slept crossed legged, sitting in my helmet, covered with my poncho. I was lucky enough during cold weather training, to be in the supply platoon. Slept in a cot, in a quonset hut, in a sleeping bag.

Had one pair of boots rot right off my feet, common occurrence...along with "stinkfoot" your brother had.
