Reuters: North Korea is Trump's "nuclear crisis from Hell."
« on: February 14, 2017, 06:13:42 AM »
This writer is presently a member of the Labour Party in the UK and according to Reuters itself he was also a very long-term employee covering international events. Reuters STILL disavows his opinions, here, which are sobering because they fit the available facts in hand.

North Korea is now capable of nuking Japan. Unless the U.S. stands up to that, or unless Japan arms itself with nukes, there is nothing to prevent North Korean atrocities.

Quote
North Korea has been a thorn in the side of the United States since the days of Harry S. Truman. The Korean War came dangerously close to sparking a nuclear confrontation, with the White House preventing U.S. commander Douglas MacArthur from using atomic weapons to stop the Chinese and North Korean armies. Under Pyongyang’s current leader Kim Jong-un, it is reaching what may be its most dangerous point since then.

Washington’s foreign policy establishment has a host of disagreements with Trump. They think he is wrong on immigration, too soft on Russia, too dangerously hawkish on China. On North Korea they are in the same hole as he is with no real ideas about how to get out.

This is a crisis everyone has seen coming. That’s why Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been so desperate to court Trump, visiting him even before the inauguration. As North Korea launched an intermediate medium-range ballistic missile on Sunday, Abe was once again with the president – this time on a golf and bonding trip to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida retreat.

Shinzo Abe, at least according to the Japan Times, is their version of a right-winger --- one without an effective arsenal. Is Trump insane enough to spark World War III by giving nukes to the people who started World War II?

I agree that dimwit boy's got some serious issues but fail to see ANY sign that China possesses ANY missile capable of shooting down a North Korean missile aimed at Japan. If anything they'd be positioned to defend against North Korean attack against China.

NK wouldn't exist without China and the munchkin knows it, so he'll do as they tell him.
Every time he acts aggressive, I believe it's when China tells him to act the fool. People think Russia is our enemy? Russia is nothing compared to the chinks.

Socialist propaganda outlets world wide are going to spend the next 4 (8?) years nipping at the Trump admin with every little thing they can dream up. This is just one more mosquito whine to be ignored.

Monday's news. Somehow I doubt Boy Wonder was following Chinese orders.

The half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was assassinated on Monday at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, according to South Korean media outlets citing government sources.

Kim Jong Nam, the firstborn son of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, was sprayed with poison by two unidentified women who fled the scene in a taxi, according to the reports.

I saw that and knew right away and knew it was a personal family matter.
His older brother offed his ass, it really is that simple.
He did an uncle in just recently as well. Like I said, it's internal family struggles, so China doesn't interfere.

But if you look at the border of NK, it wouldn't even exist without china. China keeps it alive as a buffer against the US, they can use it as an excuse for whatever they want as the unwieldy crazy stepson they claim they can't control, gives China a bargaining chip they wouldn't otherwise have.
Just think of NK as the rabid dog at the side entry gate, that's all NK is to China, a sacrificial pooch.
