Only a complete fool thinks this kind of show-of-strength will earn respect.

It is interesting to note the comparison of the Brits stealthy destroyer compared to the aged Russian destroyers.   Maybe the intention is to scuttle the old boats in deep water...?

Putin knows Russia is no match so he is going to create as much mischief that he can between now and 1/20/17.

I doubt Heritage Foundation has a "bad" political bias.  2016 Index of US Military Strength...  interesting stuff.
We're not real sure what N. Korea has, and China is really good at hiding it's nuclear abilities.
Putin, of course, is probably circulating the block, like Hitler did.... with 10 tanks & trucks carrying missles, to make it look like he has 1000.
