The Hamas has been firing on Israel, Israel retaliated by taking out a leader of the Hamas.  I have a friend in Israel that shared a letter telling her what her and her family should do.  Here is a portion of it.

U.S. citizens are encouraged to exercise caution and take appropriate measures to ensure their safety and security in light of the escalating level of violence in Gaza and southern Israel. I always wonder when one of these things is going to escalate into a full blown war.

Now that Israel knows that they can't depend on the US for help, it could be any day. I'm just waiting for the, (justified), preemptive strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. Scary times................

The timing couldn't be worse. The entire Middle East is sliding into hatred and chaos....................and here we are with a radical Islamic sympathizer in the white house.

I travel Israel for years and they are always ready.  The factories have gun racks in the lobby full of M16s and there are tank traps up near the Syrain order.  the houses are reinforced concrete.  How much more ready can you be.

Israel is always ready for war.  They have been under seige since 1947.  People in the streets are carrying gun and in the factories they are racks of M16 everywhere especially along the syrian border.   It is much worse now since our current POTUS doesn't have a clue about foreign policy or who our friends are.  Note that I said our friend and not his.  We know who his are the MB is one.  I wonder why?

Israel is one of many nations scattered about the Earth that has been a cash customer of our military/industrial complex. But Israel is probably the ONLY one that bought our hardware -- up to and including our most modern fighter jets -- and made them better.

Israel has exactly one contiguous neighbor who has not expressed the intention of destroying the Jewish state and scattering its inhabitants to the winds, and that neighbor is the Red Sea. The Palestinian claims go far beyond one to a homeland, which of course has never existed in history. They, like the Egyptians and the Saudis and the Jordanians and the Syrians and the Lebanese, claim that Israel or any other nation of Jews should not exist anywhere on Earth. When you get beyond all the lip-flapping and keffiyah-adjusting and UN-sanctioned bullshit, Arab Muslim leaders by and large want Israel and all its inhabitants GONE, as in to some other planet.

No wonder they're ready to fight!

I first started traveling to Israel over 20 years ago and they have always been ready for war.  Up on the Syrian border the factories and homes are built like bunkers and they had racks of M16's in the lobby.  They have lived under seige since about 1948.
