That's pretty cool. I remember another program where they used wild horses from Nevada as well as abused animals and had inmates training and caring for them.
Probably the first time in their lives they found compassion, but more importantly, they were needed for the first time in their life.
I see this farm in a similar light, these people have reconnected with being productive in life, we all need to feel needed.
That is so awesome to hear about inmates helping horses. I've seen videos with inmates and dogs and it's wonderful and great therapy. Here's one of them from the Dodo channel, one of my top favorites on watching animals:
