I really sympathize with Europe now at the crossroads actually. It needs labor resources from outside badly but influx of immigrants is source of problem for Paris. When I had planned moving to Europe from Africa I was sure it would be very difficult to settle here. I was really happy to learn they needed me badly in France as a porter at the 5 star hotel first and then as a driver. Now I plan joining some special African Foreign legion they are starting here soon. I used to do lots of sport and I'm still in a good physical shape. So I'm almost sure I'll be able to make it and undergo through all the necessary tests. I am sure it's worth it, for they promise French citizenship for me and my family (I have no kids yet) and they are going to pay lots of money. They say they employ only Africans being "more fitty and more reliable" than other immigrants. That's how the employers here put it.

What part of Africa do you come from?  Is this African legion part of the French Foreign Legion?

And they will TAX your income, back into poverty.  When I lived in the big cities, EVERYTHING was very expensive, and the higher income was taxed at a higher rate.  I left the city the way I financially entered, very little to show for 2 decades of hard work, and expensive living.  Now I live on a farm, where the honking is Geese, the view is green pastures, a sky filled with stars at night and a garden instead of a grocery store.

What is promised needs to be kept in perspective, the grass may look greener, like astro-turf (fake).
