Arabs and Jews do have the potential to get along within Israel, but only if it becomes a unified and fully secularized state. This will only happen if it is under direct control by Europe or the United States.

I'm sure you're a nice young man, but that's no reason to keep you around.

Do yourself a favor, sign up for a free course at Hillsdale college, then come back and post, because you have an awful lot to learn.
No insult intended.

No insult taken. The middle east has constantly shifted between Secular Empire and Islamic Caliphate, even if you add such regions as Turkey and Egypt. Only a full US withdrawal from involvement with all Middle Eastern nations including Israel (including monetary aid, military aid, and the selling of weaponry) would allow for the region to sort itself out and become self governing. If the US wishes to have a serious hand in Middle Eastern politics it can only be possible through the introduction of US territory. All I am suggesting is that the US either establishes control that has Historical Precedent (aka Britain) or to return to an isolationist state when it comes to foreign policy. On the one hand the Cold War has long been over and on the other hand Russia is entering an era of neo-expansionism, and a partitioning of the Middle East between US and Russia would certainly be a real possibility.
