Not sure if this is the right place for this topic, but I was hoping some of you could offer some suggestions on good books about the Civil War. I'd like something that goes into great detail, so lengthy books are definitely preferred.

I've also always enjoyed reading first person accounts of conflicts from the perspective of soldier and civilian alike of both sides, so if you know of any books with featuring first hand accounts I'd definitely be interested.
