Coming to Nutflex...

I actually enjoyed the original hokey 60s series, had a crush on June Lockhart.
I'll give this a shot, but I'm not going to get my hopes up, personally, they should have gone for the same campy effect the original series did, or even a comedy, but I'll give it few episodes shot.

Thoughts?

No B-9 Robot - No Watch

Another thing being remade that doesn't need to be remade.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Yepp, June. Judy was too much of a priss, even back then I didn't like prissy women.

Yes, he only came out to the cast of the show and kept it secret for decades. Yeah, he too was a freakin priss.

Leftist can't seem to create, they have to regurgitate old shows.

Well, I watched 2 episodes last night.

The family seems to like it.

No unbridled bloodshed, profanity, or nudity. So it's what passes for "Family Fare" in 2018.

It's a good show - not "Expanse" good, but good.

My only real criticism is that it is sold as a reboot of a classic. It bears little resemblance.

"Judy" is too young to lust after; "Dr Smith" as a woman is just wrong; and I don't like "The Robot" at all.

Visually I enjoy "Retro" Robots. The style of so many modern ones just seems all the same - boring

THOUGH HONESTLY....

If LIS were an accurate reboot, I would not watch it.

I watched the show as a kid, but found it very annoying even then.

The plots were lacking, Dr. Smith just awful, Penny's monkey "Bloop" the least likeable TV pet ever. I'll stop now.

There just wasn't much on the THREE CHANNELS, ok ?

I can't imagine anyone was surprised when he came out !

I actually liked Jonathan Harris as an actor.

I heard him in a couple of Radio Interviews years ago, on the Howie Carr Show (Howie is a conservative, and is still on the air in Boston - and very popular).

Harris was actually the most entertaining guest Howie has ever had ! A sharp wit, articulate, full of amusing anecdotes

Apparently he kept the LIS cast in stitches, and was very pleasant to work with.

His character was supposed to be a short-timer, but Jonathan began ad-libbing, and Irwin Allen, the Producer, found him so amusing he retained him indefinitely.

Howie has also had Major West (Mark Goddard) on his show. Nice guy, but quite forgettable (sorry Mark).

Still, as hokey as it was, we all still tuned in every week, and to think, Gilligans Island drew an even larger viewership.
I think it said a lot about family viewing more than anything. Simple, stupid yet innocent.
Audiences today are offered crap like Dexter, where the audience roots for a psychotic serial killer?

I have started to watch "Lost in Space".  I like it.  I like the new robot.  A woman as Dr. Smith is interesting.  Adds another element to the show.

SPOILER ALERT !!

Ok, your opinion on why the "Doctor" betrayed her companions ?

I understand evil, but how would that benefit her ?

Makes no sense to me.

Ha Ha !

I thought the pale gurl was Judy.

Nope.

The pale gurl is Penny.

Probably racism on my part - somehow.

It always is.
