The movie was cute, but as usual they piss out a crap game to follow the movie just to suck a few more bucks out of the audience.
Here's the thing, it was terribly repetitious with ridiculous sword fights that make absolutely no sense since you have little control.
I found just walking away and letting the enemy kill you repeatedly told the AI you were an inept idiot and allowed you to actually inflict damage and end the nonsense, this happens several times throughout the game.

My suggestion is to buy it for kids, kids you actually hate, or if you want to punish them, turn off the internet and only allow them to play this game, you'll come back in 4 hours to a clean room and kids actually reading.
Yes, it sucks that badly.
Toy bought me an Xbox with Halo, another game that is somewhat disappointing, but still looks great with an actual story line.
I hate Xbox controllers so much, I just bought Farcry3 for PC, a game I know I'll like, the first two were excellent.

I love the Tintin comics and animation serie. The movie was "meh" for me, I preferred tha animated version.
I preferred Farcry1 too farcry2, the storyline was awesome in the first one, and you didnt play a surfer emo like in the new one. The guy in the first farcry was actually very cool.

The game looks good, and is somewhat entertaining, but for us, it was only worth one play through.

I agree, I loved the fist Farcry, the second was good as well, and I think the 3rd open world rocks.
But I'll be going back to Borderlands after this.
I need to start looking for some new games, I thought Farcry 3 would last me at least a year, Borderlands did.

I soooo miss playing online play, I used to be a big Quake rocker, belonged to LOF (Lecherous Old Farts Clan), but then the internet went DSL then cable, and us hard line users started getting slaughtered.
My area will never see high speed, the closest I have is satellite, and the delay kills you in online gaming.
But if by some miracle we get some new technology, I'll give ya a holler..

However, if you do have Borderlands, get the expansion packs for it, completely changes the game and adds all kinds of stuff to improve the game.
Unless you like Arena crap with endless waves of enemies attacking, avoid Moxis' Thunder dome, the other three are great side games and hours of play. My favorite is General Knox's Armory...
I can't express enough how much these improved the game.
