Title: The Tiger Woods Series
Post by: kit saginaw on November 03, 2015, 03:39:49 PM
I've only played 05, 08, 13, and the 14 Masters-edition.

I was always disappointed in the EA Sports' partnership with the PGA, coming from the floppy-disc era of 2-dimensional colorscapes.  Why?  Because instead of a logical step into more realistic terrain and conditions we were subjected to 'golfers with attitude' based-on the unrealistic urban-egoism the EA Sports wanted desperately to project to its audience.

Golfers doing moonwalks across greens after making a simple putt, etc.

Golf-course graphics did advance, and the pretentious antics faded away.  At the end it was a fine presentation.  But EA wasted so many years in arriving to where they should've started in the first place.

We got it for Xbox when it first came out, looked great, but the learning curve stole any possibility of fun out of the game, tried to play it a few times, and shit canned it.
