I've always been a fan of The Eldar Scrolls franchise every sence I first came across it. The first one I saw was Morrowind. I liked the game, but the movement speed was so low it really took a lot out of the game.

Oblivion really got my interest and I found out about the mods that you could add to make the game more enjoyable.

Skyrim really added to that and I've played the game all the way through to the killing of the lord dragon several time. Each time playing a different type character, but the one I like most the the Bosmer Archer. I just wish they had made the Elves more like Tolkien's Elves instead of these hideous creatures that takes forever to make look in any way enjoyable to pplay.
Deeper questions have often been the offspring of former answers.  knowledge, Wisdom and understanding demands it to be so.

I've never gotten-around to playing it.  I played Oblivion and the two expansion-packs about 7-years-ago, and it was pretty-okay.  There's no sword-n-sorcery pull to lure me back into Bethesda Studios' universe.

I've gotten-around to playing it.  Amazingly beautiful graphics.  It's like playing inside of a lushly detailed oil-painting.  But the title should be Saverim.  Or The Backstab Scrolls...  because situations will have you incessantly distracted with saving your progress, which means endless loading-screen vigils.  That aspect makes it hard to rate the game.

I'd still give it an 8.5 for the sheer breadth of experiences, with the 3 expansion-quests thrown-in.  The dragon-fights are as excellent as you could hope for.  But as usual for the series, you can defeat a tough-as-nails adversary one minute, then get easily killed by a minor one the next.

I loved oblivion but had my best experiences in Morrowind. Never played Arena or the old games though. I downloaded too many hentai mods for skyrim and oblivion though that did not help in the long run... and I feel that I have already done everything in Fallout/Skyrim series so many times now I find myself playing old games Fallout 2 and Arcanum again instead.

Bethesda.. not sure how to formulate it but their games is so similar I know exactly what will happen in every situation and what's behind every hill etc. I think its mostly just having played the games too much, but in Fallout 4 I got really bored to the point I cant stand the game after about 30 hours. Can't say it wasn't worth it, but I probably have spent more than 400 hours on fallout 3 and new vegas combined. And even more on Oblivion.

Same here with Fallout4. The game was good initially, but replay isn't something I looked forward to like I did in the original.
Open thing the game has going for it is open world, but beyond that.....
