just started watching it.   Set in colonial times.....I guess in the new world meaning here.     They're talking about the Iroquois... I'm thinking somewhere between virginia and massachutsetts.

Why is it that these series are always dark, full of sex, sex talk, perversions, occultism, filth, voyerism, and every kind of human low class behavior?  and go nowhere.    It seems it is for the shock value
