The white woman was fired after she blocked a black man from entering their apartment building in St. Louis claims she was just following the condo board's instructions. She didn't know him and never saw him before. She asked to see the man's key fob for the apartment building but "He would not answer me. He would not show me one." "My only intent was to follow the direction that I had been given by our condo association board members repeatedly and that is to never allow access to any individual that you do not know,".

There is video of this incident.  Why not link to it?  It would reveal that the man (who lives in the building) showed the woman his fob after she tried to block the entrance to the building he lived in.  The woman claims she was following the association's instructions, but there is nothing to support her claim yet.

Blocking access to a building to anyone you do not know is stupid, unless it's a very small place and you're actually expected to know everyone who lives there.

I didn't see anything about a showing her the fob. Unless I missed it. Then again he did provide her the floor he was on.

These situations, which could simply be solved with a little bit of proof and mutual understanding are blown out of proportion. There are millions of videos just like this on the web with varying situations and factors. Some of them are blatantly wrong. I think both these residents were in the wrong for what they each did.

When I'm entering the place I live in, I'm always right and the person who is blocking me for no good reason is always wrong.

I work at a secure government installation; I understand the difference between entering a secure place and a non-secure place.  Unless the man actually violated building rules he agreed to, then he was in the right and anyone opposing him for the amount of time that woman was, is wrong.

At about 1:30 in the video the man holds up what appears to be a set of keys and says he buzzed in.

I should have waited longer before posting this gather more info on what actually happened. I never saw that video on the news until today.
