Buried in this recap of the Michigan primary (in which Dr. Strangehair and Bern-Out scooped up the wins) is this little gem at RightMi.com ----

QuoteFast forward to 2016. The Michigan Republican establishment has been on a two year jihad against the Tea Party. Here they have done real damage to their own base without garnering any new adherents.  Complete stupidity. They have scrambled – unsuccessfully – to find a Presidential candidate to challenge the Tea Party favorite Donald Trump. Clear evidence that the Tea Party has not been exterminated, but is now exacting a well deserved revenge from the Republican establishment behind a clever – if unloved – leader. And the Michigan Republican establishment's inept standard bearer, Governor Snyder, has unwittingly created the most powerful Democratic political weapon in a generation: Flint water.

These are REPUTEDLY CONSERVATIVES. This is possibly the most jaw-dropping nonsense I've ever read in a supposedly conservative site. Somebody's been gobbling double handsfuls of Orange Sunshine LSD and chasing it with pure-D Tennessee moonshine, a quart at a time.

The Bay area has these same Bubble Dwellers claiming Conservative status, where in and amongst Marxists, they are considered gar right, but we know better.

Wouldn't you love to ask whoever said this, "How is Donald TEA at all?"
"If you can't run with the big dawgs, stay on the porch!"

Actually, I wouldn't use the first name except sarcastically with "The" hugely prominent. And I'd start by asking how many TEA people he knows and can actually sit and intelligently discuss issues with, instead of these blithering wankers up in Lansing that we have now.

Without doubt, the Flint water "crisis" is a circlejerk of blame among equally asinine and equally guilty participants, but the incumbent RINO governor has state law on his side and therefore is specifically exempted from having to issue copies of any correspondence including emails. (Can you say stonewall? I sure can!) Then the RINO governor names the head of the DEQ to investigate his own department. (I predict lower-level firings and tons more finger-pointing.)

I also predict TEA gets the blame when we vote revenge and throw these morons out.

A few days ago I wrote about how longtime political type Bill Ballenger got disavowed by his own web site (new owner link here: http://insidemichiganpolitics.com/ ) after the new owner freaked out over Ballenger's analysis that Michigan would go for Trump and the Old Guy.

I am not deeply conversant in this but Ballenger had DECADES of reliably nonpartisan political newsgathering at the above site, equaled in respect only by Gonwers News Service and the VERY occasional bright spark at Lansing's AP office. I'll gladly correct any errors in fact I present here, but right now it appears the GOP is in total rout, something I haven't seen up-close since the Nixon era.

They deserve it. They played Loyal Opposition for too long and now they need to grow a set and toss the lunatics to the curb---all of them.

Just for balance, the hard left wasn't ready to win when Sanders came from as much as a 27-point deficit to win out over Hildabeast. Here's former Detroit Free Press reporter Michael Betzold....

QuoteBut on Tuesday, I was in uncharted territory – on the winning side. And my arguments have new weight. So what that Hillary has cleaned up in the South? No Democrat will win any of those states in November. No, independents will decide the election – many of them responding to Trump on economic grounds – and Sanders trounced Clinton among those independents here by a 72-to-27 margin, according to CNN. So Sanders can vanquish the Donald on the most important turf. I'm not just grasping at straws, folks. This is a deadly serious matter.

Now, for probably the first time in my political life, I can gloat. That damned super-nerd Nate Silver, who predicted Bernie had a 1 percent chance of taking Michigan, was wrong despite all his sophisticated computer models. And those who thought that an old leftie senator from Vermont was doomed were wrong too. Those who thought he could win only the whitest states have a new set of hard facts to face.

What just happened was a game-changer. Stunning. And all the talking heads and party bosses don't have a clue what's going on now.

...and as for Nate Silver..... Michigan is in fact bifurcated.

More navel-gazing over Sanders' win....

Quote
Respected pollster Ed Sarpolus of the Michigan-based Target-Insyght , tells me that after he appeared on WWJ radio the other day, he got calls from from Democrats who dislike Trump and said they voted for Trump's Republican opponents to try and block him from getting the nomination.

Sarpolus also find it interesting that Dearborn Arab Americans went for Sanders, a Jewish candidate. The Arab American News endorsed Sanders, noting that he's even-handed on Middle Eastern affairs and spoke out strongly against Islamophobia.

Still, at this point, Clinton still has an edge over Sanders in the delegate count. And the conventional wisdom seems to be that she's still favored to win  the Democratic nomination.

That being said, In the general election, Sarpolus says, Clinton needn't worry too much about Sanders' supporters voting Republican. "As you know, anyone who voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary is not going to vote for a Republican in November," he said.

But he said Clinton has to work to make sure those Sanders supporters who are infrequent or new voters come out in November. "She's going to have to figure out how to get them to the polls," he said.

Mussies vote for the Jew.  If it wasn't THAT Jew, I'd be screaming mazel tov.

Meanwhile the commentators appear to fixate on the black vote and downplaying the arab influence (for whatever reason it occurred). Yes indeed, we live in interesting times.
