The Future is Nano-Tech

Feminists claim that the future is female.  I disagree with this assertion and to me the future is nano-tech.  What would you all think of tiny microscopic machines that were able to transmit thoughts from one mind to another by copying certain synapses in the brain and duplicating them in other people.  Imagine if we were able to understand each other and understand each other's experiences.  Men could understand women.  Men could understand women.  Libs and conservatives could understand each other and where the other side is coming from.  Blacks and Whites could understand the other.

What do you all think of this?

Women don't even understand women, and you tell me nano-tech will make a man understand women?  One of the reasons conservatives and liberals do not understand each other, conservatives look at facts to see what will work and liberals are wrapped up in feelings. An ex. we see all the countries that have tried and failed at socialism, the liberals endorse it. WHY? Another ex. facts do not support global warming, liberals fudge the facts and believe we only have 12 years left. WHY? I am curious, what is going to happen after 12 years? Will it all happen at once? If the liberals are so worried about flooding, why do they not give a damn about dams on the verge of collapsing as in California?

In simple terms, what I'm proposing is empathy or in other words being able to know and understand the other person's experiences.  It is the brain that is our operating system.  It is through our brain we have our experiences.  What if we could share these experiences by copying synapses of differing brains?  And, not just our experiences but our very thought processes.  Our thought processes that cause us to react and make decisions in differing situations.

Interesting concept, though I can't see a public interested in giving up complete privacy of ones thoughts.
Yes, it's definitely feasible, especially once we have bots building bots, anything will be possible. But don't count on being around when it occurs. I believe this will be nearing the last days of man, because AI will have surpassed man and man will rebel, civil war will follow and the elite who controls the AI will win.

Sick Of Silence

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

You and I can have the same experiences, same time, same place, ect. and  view it completely differently. Even if I could "see" your experiences, I would still apply my brain to them to understand them. It probably would not be the same result you got since we are all different. There has been many an argument between people who saw the same accident.

Exactly! It all comes down to life experiences. If one never got out of the house, while the other spends their time building a business, both will view taxes through a different lens.

Everything you've said is so true.  And, you can say it again a million times.  What if we could experience how the other person would apply their brain?

I admit there would be issues with this.

a.  The issue of privacy was brought up.  A number of people will not be comfortable with this.  This is an excellent point.

b.  Governments including our own would misuse it especially if they believe they're doing the right thing.

c.  There is a potential side effect.  Both brains who connect like this on a consistent basis may become interdependent on each other thereby creating one mind instead of two.  In other words, we would have what I call the Borg effect.

You couldn't, you don't have their life experiences. Like prejudices, you wouldn't know why they hate spiders because you weren't there when they were teased with one at an early age.
Point being, you could never really empathize with them unless you were there to experience their life first hand.

Borg effect? Have you not seen the libs today?

I hate to say this.  Libs are very dogmatic and Borg like.   One example.  One feminist demanded we men defend other women from things like cat calls and other sexism but I asked if a woman does something to a man like she gets violent with him can a man expect a woman to step in on his behalf since he's not allowed to hit a woman even to defend himself.  I was called sexist, you don't understand and was blocked on facebook and removed from her friends list.  And, I said to myself what don't I understand.  What did I say was wrong.  All I did was expected and asked for consistent standards.

Libs behavior is dogmatic and never open to question or the possibility of being wrong on something.  I don't agree with everything Ben Shapiro says or believes but to yell and scream to silence and drown him out is horrendous.  What libs do at these speeches is against everything I stand for and believe in which is free thought, reason, free speech, and getting to the truth of things.   Free speech is prerequisite to getting to the truth of things.

But, what are these life experiences and prejudices though?  To me, they're synapses in the brain stored in a particular configuration.  Sort of like data storage on a hard drive.  Understand the human brain more, replicate the synapses and the particular configurations maybe one can replicate these experiences.

Oh, I forgot!

There's  book about what men know about women.  It's by Dr. Allen Francis.  It's an excellent read.

Nope. Like music, we both hear the same sound via a recording, you're hearing it the same as I, yet you think it sucks. There is no way another set of synapses is going to make you like it, unless yours are drown out first, because you come with your own set of preferences, prejudices, likes and dislikes.
I like nails on a chalk board, the moment I put a liberal in their place, the sound of a baby crying incessantly, a military mess hall during a brawl, the gunshots at a firing squad of a murderer being executed, these bring me joy
How could you ever find joy if you can't suppress your own thoughts?
