I can believe this to be true, I've seen some weird auto corrects.
I used to have a TV that had auto CC closed caption and it tried to write out what was being said on TV, I would watch some pretty bad TV with the volume muted, the results could be hilarious.
Then again, maybe the Rosey O show was really that bad...
