PHRATA, Wash. - A man trying to burn an American flag blanket started a 5-acre wildfire Sunday, Grant County Fire District 13 officials said.
Ephrata firefighters responded around 6 p.m. to the fire near Ephrata Airport and, with the assistance of four units from Grant County Fire, were able to contain the fire.

You know I could smell that smoke at my house.
My neighbor has two tanker truck just like the one on the right, full of water set to go 24/7. He can fill them under 7 min right at his house in back at the back shop. There are two other places he can fill up all with in 2 miles.
Burning anything with an American flag should be punishable by Federal law. There are certain things you should not do. You can't partake with the God-given rights by shitting on the place that gives you those rights.

There is a time and place...
A flag that is torn, tattered, faded or dirty should be removed and disposed of properly. According the U.S. Code, Title 4, Chapter 1, also known as the Flag Code, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." That regulation applies to flags made of cotton or wool; flags made of nylon or some other synthetic fiber require a different manner of disposal.
