This is bizarre! A 100 TRILLION dollar bill!
Don't put any credence in the author's arithmetic. It's pretty bad. But the article is still damned interesting!

This sort of thing is not limited to Third World basket-case economies! I'm not saying that it'll happen here, but it DID happen in Weimar Germany in the early 1920s. Here's a shot of a 1,000-mark Reichsbank note bearing the central bank's official stamp converting it to a 1,000,000,000-mark note:

By late 1923 the German currency finally stabilized, and new notes called Rentenmarks were issued. One Rentenmark was worth one trillion Reichsbank marks.
Here's how we're going to do it here in tbone-land...

I saw this story a while back also on The Blaze. I don't know if it will get that bad here but it did cost me $90.00 (ouch) :o :'( to fill up my truck yesterday.
Get used to the new normal...
Saw an article a while back about Zimbabwe, and it appears the only 'money' that is worth anything, is gold panned from the rivers. Of course it is back breaking work and basically only the young and/or fit can do it day in and day out. If you're an old person and don't have a youngster to help you out, you starve. So freaking much for paper money, eh?
