Title: Disney's first 'exclusively gay moment'
Post by: Solar on March 02, 2017, 06:15:03 AM
Walt's turning in his grave. Disney was always about the children and innocense. Looks like a piece of shit anyway...

It built its reputation on princesses finding their prince, living happily ever after in storylines which set the benchmark for romance for generations of children.

Now, Disney is to move firmly into a new era as it introduces its first "exclusively gay moment", disclosing the new version of Beauty and the Beast will star a manservant exploring his sexuality.

He's confused about what he wants. It's somebody who's just realizing that he has these feelings
Bill Condon, director
The live-action version of Beauty and the Beast is already on course to be the most thoroughly modern film of its kind, with star Emma Watson discussing how she made the role of Belle more feminist.

The team have now revealed one character, LeFou, will experience Disney's first ever "gay moment" on screen, as he struggles with his feelings for ultra-macho leading man Gaston.

I was going to talk to my fingers as sometimes they don't hit the y or W all the way.  Other time they add extra letters, but in the last 10 years they don't listen to me.   So I blame it on the lack of coffee.

I was just thinking of the Palace of Mean days where I'd slug down two pots of coffee and THEN start posting. I'm down to half that, fifteen years later...and I still blame mistakes on lack of coffee.

When the cat was small I could blame her as she was always helping me walking on the key board.  But now she 12 years old at 16 lbs.  so there is no room for her and me on the key board at the same time.  When she was small I unplugged my key board if I left the room.  If not she could do thing to my computer the even my wife could not do.

As a parent I am appalled by this.  This is a Fairy tale, not a tale about a "fairy".  Also Belle is coming out as more feminist.  That really fits into a love story.(sarc)   How I long for the simpler times,,,,
