When I post on this site, I feel like I'm invading a "good old boys club."
The only other women I've seen post here are Josie & Solar's Toy.
I need to find a site where I can converse with some women.

Sadly women simply aren't interested in politics.
There was a study done some time back which showed political forums were 99% men and the remainder were women.
You would do better to simply bring women here, go to other sites and explain your plight, I'll even create a forum just for you gals.
Hows that sound, and you can be moderator.
Funny thing is Holly when I originally started posting on a forum (on another site). There were a core of about 5 women who posted on a semi-regular basis. Unfortunately it was mainly in a games forum (which was totally boring and they kept repeating the same "games" over and over) or their version of the Living Room. Mostly fluff topics.... Toy (https://conservativepoliticalforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FOthers%2Fothers-085.gif&hash=bb4483f65261fe711c094838679bf433f52aebba)
Both of you are right. A lot of my friends think politics is boring vs. the latest sale on shoes or hair color.
I was never interested in politics until 2000 when it was obvious Gore was trying to win the election by any means. Since that time, I've paid attention to what's going on.
I'll be hard pressed to find any women that care enough to join a forum, but I'll keep looking..

Keep trying Holly. I have invited my sisters but one of the problems is they don't like to "argue". So they come and read but rarely post. I keep trying...too.

Try a local Tea party event, you'll find a lot of fired up women there.
Holly's comment reminds me of a quote I once read where some famous woman was asked why so few women entered politics, and replied to the effect that it gave men something to do and kept them from being underfoot in the house.
Just thought I'd share that, seated at my home computer, looking for something to do.

These days I wish I had half your energy. An hour or so of anything semi physical and I am exhausted. Hopefully I will be getting back up to my full speed again soon. I miss staying busy. My wife and I have followed this whirlwind for about eight years now on various sites. N says,
"Elfie's on the move!" I ask, when

Bert, putting on heels and a mini skirt doesn't count.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

lol Sounds like you need Elfie to make you a meatloaf and sent it to you Eyes. As I remember it's been sometime since you've been home and had a home cooked meatloaf with her and Himself.
Yes, Elfies meatloaf is a rare and wonderfull thing.
She used to send me venison sausage, or save it for me, but we found out that it is best if she just hangs it under the porch at the river and let me feed off of it for a couple days. If she leaves it in the fridge for me it is out of sight and out of mind and I tend to forget it.
She leaves me a bowl of water sometimes too.
Is it me, or does it seem like after this got posted, all our female posters became active again? Even Jasmine's back.
Welcome back, everyone.

It always happens that way..You'll probably have good & bad days for another week or so, then you'll be good as new. Just in time for spring planting.

I am hoping. Just need to pace myself better. I go back to the doctor Wednesday for my follow-up. Probably get a tentative date I can return to work. I have been told 4-6 months for the fusion to be complete. Until then there are going to be limitations.

So typically male.
Unfortunately, and all to often, the "gentle hand wrapped around the handle of a frying pan" correlates more closely to a gentle finger on the trigger of a sniper rifle than a quiet breakfast.

 When I was around 20 years of age. I had a boss, that his wife would use a frying pan on him when he came home after a night of drinking and fighting at the bar. He could not figure out why he was in so much pain the next day. He had to go to sleep sometime.
