Well, when I sat down in my (bleached black) gray jeans with a plate of potato salad (made it m'self, BTW) for lunch, I wasn't really thinking about declaring it to the world as some sort of fashion statement. Based on your description of "emo," I feel like apologizing! 

Here's something to scare you and your ol' man and everybody else -- I DO have a pair of plaid pants and I HAVE been thinking of incorporating snails into my diet. (Don't we all dream of such things?) Tomorrow I might just be: Plaid Escargot!
