Hi There,
Just wanted to introduce myself and thank you for the opportunity to join your community.
A little about me:
Happily married, former homeschooling mother of three (2 living, 1 in Heaven), grandmother (NaNa) of 2, pro-life, constitutional conservative who loves all things Star Trek, Dr. Who, and Florida State football (Go 'Noles!).
A long time ago I was an Admin on the FreeConservatives board and then posted shortly on the LibertyDwells board.  I think I may recognize a couple of fellow freecers and dwellers who post here now.  Hope I'll still be welcome, lol.
I have been away from forums for a while now, but lacking an avenue to have political discussion, I found myself once again looking for a place to talk politics, get information, and be around like-minded folks.
Looking forward to some great conversations!
See y'all on the threads,
Ziggy

Welcome. Hope you enjoy it here.

Hi there. Not sure where I should post this other than here.

Hi there. I am a Bernie supporter and a sophomore in college. I made a bet last week with one of the few Trump supporters in school. The terms:

1) If Bernie won Nevada and Trump won SC, it was a push. Same if both lost.

2) But if one won while the other lost, well...

I lost, obviously.

THE WAGER:

Starting at 9AM tomorrow EST, I will now work for my friend for the next 72 hours. I will be his butler/assistant/servant/etc. until Thursday morning.

We also agreed that the loser would go onto different message boards and the like for suggestions for thing I'll have to do for the next 72 hours. I already know that I'm to have coffee and a breakfast sandwich in hand, and I can expect to do a lot of laundry, scrubbing his bathroom, burn the Bernie sign I have on my door outside somewhere and things like that.

We also agreed that I'd ask for suggestions from places like this. I'm not going to just do chores. He's going to use the next few days to also expose me to "proper" thinking. I have to write a two-page book report on The Art of the Deal. But I know I'm going to have a few more things to read and listen to, also.

So fire away for anything else.

Hey there BernieSupporter, or how about BS for short.
Anyway, welcome to the forum, hope you stick around. And FWIW, if you really like Bernie, you should see little difference in Trump, they're cut from the same socialistic cloth.

I would suggest you take time to read up on what socialism really is. Hopefully you will determine it is a loser in the long term.

Hi, y'all.  I found your board and I've been reading it the last few days, it felt right like home, so I thought I would just jump in.

I'm a female, age 58, living in Louisiana, but born and raised in Texas.  I'll always be a Texan! I've been posting on a popular "conservative" board for many, many years and I'm hating it that I now have to put the conservative in quotes. It's turned into a batwing crazy Donald Trump fan board. In the last months I've felt like I was posting on Democrat Underground.  I give the facts with links and the response is vile insults because they won't address anything that is truth.

Anyway, I love talking politics and just about anything with fellow conservatives.  I hope I can make some new friends that feel like old friends here

Welcome to CPF.

We have a few Trumpers here also.

We actually love Trump here.  He is such a clown and failure that he provides comedy gold.  I don't want this campaign to end.
