Hey Y'all

It was suggested I post this here... so here goes.

I'm a small government, fiscally conservative, constitutionalist that believes that the Federal Government exists as a compact of states rather than as an individual omnipotent entity.  I believe power flows up, not down. 

I also believe that most things the Federal Government does is outside their charter.  I believe that they have tortured the interstate commerce clause to include jurisdiction over things that it was never designed to address. 

I think hate speech laws and hate crime laws are attempts to impose thought control on people.  Neither types are valid laws.   I think liberals have an active agenda aimed at social engineering us into their likeness. 

So... there it is in a nutshell.  Thanks for having me.

Just signed up today and it's great to be here.  I'm from the great state of Texas and have supported Ted Cruz since his days as solicitor general.  I watched him take on the establishment' choice for Senate.  He came back from 60 points down to win in a landslide an carried the Latino votes in a large majority.  He's going to do the same exact thing in the election.

I'm honored to be here and thanks for making this a place I can call home.

I am a member of that other conservative forum. Unfortunately over there, Trump is viewed  as Godlike by many, especially the powers to be. Have read this forum for about 4 years. Time to join and fight the good fight.
