I'm not interested in plugging it.  I thought members would just want to know where I come from.
No prob. Kevmo, we're all refugees from some pit or another.
Welcome aboard. And take it as a badge of honor, I wear one for pointing out that the Townhall forum was being over run by lib authors, and got booted for it.

There's a certain natural rhythm to that, considering you got banned from Lamont's joint for being too conservative, after you were voted Conservative of the Year there.....

I mean --- yowza!   :woot: :woot: :woot:

Yeah, it's pretty telling when Cons have to start their own site to have a voice.

It's even more telling how liberals go to such extreme lengths to silence all opposing views, whatever they are. One stunt got pulled on me a few years back (long before Obama).

Walks and a few others might recall I had a blog over at mu.nu just before Ace of Spades showed up there. I had about 24 sites exchanging links with me, which I thought respectable after only a few months on the Net, and then some leftist complained to a library running a certain brand of censorship filters for content.

Turned out, every other library using that wide-used filtering program were all signed up for regular updates on ISP numbers to block for "their own protection." They didn't even have to read a list of who owned the ISP or why it was banned, just accept the update and it gets auto-added into blocking those nasty conservatives from public reading places. The efficiency in that one was breathtaking, Daddy Warbucks!

I pointed out something similar to JimRob, and he called me a newbie.     I had a login date  with the forum only 2 months shorter than he had been.  Longer (in most respects, far longer) than almost all the others he had been conversing with on that particular thread.

There are worse reasons for getting booted from a forum after 15 years than pointing out that the founder had betrayed his own stated conservative principles.

That's pretty much the reason I left my last forum after fifty thousand posts over the years.
The owner was doing things in direct conflict with Conservative principles and allowing members private information to be used against them.

You'll find this forum rock solid on Conservative principle, you have my word on that.

Hello to the Members of this board!

Despite my username, I believe that you will find I am not a troll. Just upset that it appears Conservatives are bent on taking Obama's/the Left/the Democrats/the federal and blue-state government's abuses lying down. If that's Conservatism, I want no part of it...

Obamacare, attacks upon religious liberty in the name of "freedom", the land grabs, blatent double standards on things like racism and how the term is misapplied to some people.

One thing I left out: Liberalism always marches forward, even with a Conservative chief-executive in the Oval Office, Conservative majorities in both houses of Congress and Conservative majorities on the SCOTUS. I never see the Left suffer a defeat, ever.

And then there is Chief Justice Roberts...

You're confusing the GOP for Conservatives, they are far from it..
Vote TEA and kick the socialists out of the party.

Thanks, Solar. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Please understand it is not my intention to offend. I am upset about the direction of the country. There is so very much that needs to be done, and things are only getting worse. This country is a definite, Second World odor to it.

Absolutely agree! So stick around and we'll be happy to enlighten you, it's what we do, disseminate the truth about true Conservatism.
Bet you wind up changing your name if you do stick around, you'll be proud to call yourself a Conservative.
Oh, and you are absolutely right about the leftists always moving forward, or rather downward, and it's the GOP that's allowed it, and it's time for real change.

You sound more like a Pissed Off Conservative then a Ex- Conservative young man.

If we can have name changes on this site, I may take you up on that!

walkstall has already made a suggesstion that is compelling. Yes, I am pissed!  :cursing:

I am proud of having Conservative views. I tend to be adamant, even militant about them.

I am very concerned that we are losing the peace.
