So, you're the one who blows on the sun and moon to make them cross the sky, and you are the whirlwind who ushers in the rains to bring life and grow the corn? Or is that some other Ehecatl?

Ahhh...a curious person does a little search, but leaves out the first name "Ek", connect the 2 and you might figure it out and win a cookie.... :cool:
It was a name given me by an Aztec lady many moons ago while in the power circles on El Quemado. The names together have a different meaning. I'm only a "whirlwind" when provoked.

Here's a toe tapper for you in the meantime...... :thumbup:

I recognized Ehecatl, but I don't know Ek, I'll look it up. I did think it might make a difference, but I'm lazy.

Yea, know what you mean, where I am the weather these days is delightful, leads to lazy in me.
Ek= Star
Ehecatl= Wind/wind god
literal is star wind, deeper meaning is the energy that binds/connects the universe together. That was bestowed 30 years ago, you had to have been there.....was interesting times and places.

After a bit of pondering 51, I thought I might clarify. The name was given after many months completely unplugged from the modern world in the high desert mountains, a soul searching journey you might say, with a climax of a deeply personal understanding that we, and literally everything is "Ek Ehecatl", all IS God. Of course the Indians express this in different ways. After this we left to return to "the world" turned on the radio and the first thing we heard was about the USSR shooting down Flight 007, a while back, we almost went back to the mountains, maybe we should have. There was a sublime peace there....

Yes it always does encroach, a few years back I was watching a Brad Pitt/Julia Roberts movie about a fancy pistol and was flabbergasted to see they had filmed part of it in that special little place....bummer.... Hollywood discovered it and now they have a worldwide webcam. I haven't returned...

Greetings.  Was surfing the WWW, and found this site.  Read a couple posts here and there, and wondered if conservatives here debate among themselves or if liberals join this site as well.

They do tend to do that. I wonder why that is.  It's sort of depressing.

Real libs tend to stay where there is a litany of agreeable sheep, trolls on the other hand, like stirring the pot wherever they can, but usually never last long once someone holds their feet to the fire and challenges them on their BS.
