My old home? If you mean Facebook, it became extremely boring.

The room doesn't seem too busy. Maybe we should shake things up a bit?

Over the years I've belonged to a number of boards, and am finding this one to be one of my favorites.
Too many posters on other boards seem to get their jollies out of slamming others. So far, not seeing that here.

Welcome to the forum VV.

Just so you know, this thread should have been originally posted in:
http://conservativepoliticalforum.com/the-living-room/welcome-thread-for-newbie/

So it will be moved tomorrow.

One other point, we have a religion forum as well, and keep politics separate from religion.

Hello all...   If I've learned one thing, over and over from this forum, the foundation of everything we hold true and dear is wrapped up in the Constitution.   The labels, Conservative, TEA, RINO, Libertarian are just without substance if the ideas these groups profess can't be clearly traced back to the Constitution/Bill of Rights.

The Marxists / Liberals / Socialists are playing the long game, which gathered a lot of steam under Obama, and might take decades to roll back with this lack-luster Senate/Congress.   For me personally, this has been a good place to echo some thoughts, hear/read great discourse, and develop compelling arguments to present the Constitutional Conservative position elsewhere.  I hope you can intellectually profit as I have, in such a short time.  Welcome.
