I'm a dad and a Marine infantry combat vet, wounded in action, and I'm just fed up with what I perceive as the decline and fall of America. I'm fed up with all these spoiled brats bitching about how tough it is and blaming everybody but themselves (any convenient target will do, rich people, business leaders, oil companies etc) for their own laziness and failures to achieve.

I'm disgusted with the attempts of the (apparently) homosexual-dominated entertainment industry to shove their warped view of morality down our throats at every opportunity. (The latest outrage is NBC's new primetime sitcom, The New Normal.

I see this wonderful country that I fought for, that my family has fought for since Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville, becoming weak and effete. So I'm here to vent I guess.

Welcome DK!!  I'm a suthunah as well...  Glad you're here... vent away!

Guess I'm the newest member. Looks like a cool board. Most of my posts
are in the War and Miscalculation of WW2 threads.

I told some friends about this forum so there might be some more newbs. We're
all conservatives fed up with our current board.

I'm upset and will be up all night waiting for the big SC decision in about 11 hours.

I guess you could say I am a survivor of many forums. I finally decided to take a break, and sit back and just think about it. Thought about it,  jumping back in the saddle. I am very Conservative, brought on by many hard knocks. Learn everything the hard way, and now, very smart, I think!

Welcome, skuttlebutt! Learning things the hard way is, as Solar points out, the ONLY way to REALLY learn. Who was it who said, "If when you're young you're not a liberal, you have no heart. If when you're older you're not a conservative, you have no brain." Something like that...

Anyway, WELCOME!  :tounge: :tounge:

Good day fellow conservatives.

New here, figured I would introduce myself.

From central Wisconsin 25 year old male, I'm a paramedic but am currently working at a local gun shop due to lack of jobs in the area. Attending the local technical college as time permits for this and that (mainly fire fighting related courses).

I just figured it would be nice to get to talk to other like minded people other than the folks that come into the shop.

God Bless!

Good evening all.  I am brand new here, but thought it proper to introduce myself so no one thinks I am some lurker.
I am a Christian, conservative, homeschooling, mother of soon-to-be four kids.  I am very interested in politics, I am here to learn even more and gain more perspective.  Most of the forums that I posted to in the past were not very tolerant of conservative ideas.  I am happy to have found a place where I can be conservative and not be called all the usual names.

Welcome Kari. You will find a lot of great links, information, and opinions here. Liberals are allowed to voice their opinions, which I like.

I will say, that some of the language can get into the R- rated territory. What can I say? We tend to be pretty passionate with our beliefs. I hope you hang around, share your opinions, and enjoy the site.

I'm not the site owner, just a guy that has come to like it around here. It's a decent bunch of people.
