Hey everyone!

I'm doing a survey for my class but I'm lacking in conservative response (my school is pretty liberal). If you have two minutes, want to represent fellow conservatives, and help me get more data, please fill out the survey!

The survey is weird, but I can't reveal the purpose of the survey because I might skew your results. But definitely tell me any of your thoughts in the last question!

eta_iota, you would learn a lot more about the Conservative way of thinking.  If your were to read the board and not just come in and check your post. 

There is a lot you can learn that you will not get at your liberal Duke University .  All it cost is your time.

Exactly! No survey is going to teach one about Conservatism, no more than one can learn about the universe by looking at the night sky.

I am required to conduct this survey, but since my sample size is so small, I wouldn't be able to draw any conclusions about conservatives, or any group, in general. The results of my survey will say nothing of substance about any particular group since I am so limited in my capabilities as a student.

While I do welcome the chance to learn about conservatism (I welcome the chance to learn just about anything), this survey is not for learning purposes. I just need try my best to get some data for this class.

I understand your dilemma, but the problem you face here and in many other forums, is most of us are old farts who hate surveys, polls, and inquiries of any kind.
Also over the years we've been inundated with students wanting our time and opinion, only to discover there is never any consideration given for true Conservatives/Classic Liberals in the image of our founding Fathers wishes for this Nation.
In other words, these so called surveys lump us in with Republicans or Democrats, of which we are neither.

I hope this explains the issue better. My suggestion would be to hit sites like http://imgur.com/ or other high traffic social sites.
Good luck, and maybe you can show this to the teacher as evidence as to why Conservatives have no interest in surveys, especially after being burned continuously by leftist media and the GOP/RNC.
We trust no one, especially govt.

I'm not offended, we (I) just know that for every question there a reason.  Surveys are not the best way to get true data.  Just look at the last presidential polls over 9 years.

Or government supported schools in this day and age.

Thank you for your responses. I think I understand the issue better and will take into account some of your suggestions. But if anyone here still wants to take the survey, please do.
