Well I now can not get out my back door.  As my wife had me put on a screen door.   So I now have 2.5' at the back door.  Everything from the roof is on the deck also.   So I had to go out the front door, as it has no screen door.
The front door opens to the in side.  we have about 7" in front.  But we have sun and rain coming in 2 days so I will not even clean it up.     I will let that G/W melt the snow this year, as we have over two month supply. :sneaky:  They say we have 12hrs of more snow coming.  I told my wife I don't remember walking in 7" of snow was so hard, she said your not 80 now your pushing 100.  So I ask her do I have to do the honey do list any more.  I know I am a smart ass even at my age.
See, your meteorologists got it right. They've been predicting snow for over a month now.

Now they can ask for more money from the government taxpayers.

Nailed it!!!
I know Oregon is used to snow, so what's with the Florida approach to snow? We get a few feet and people simply stay home or leave before it hits, but oit's the North for crying outloud.

Well I just got that 2 feet of snow off my back deck that was up against the screen door.  So now I can go in and out the back door.  I must remember to block the screen door open if it going to snow.     The wind did not blow much so all the snow from the roof dropped down within 0 to 3' right next to the house on deck.

The boys from next door cleaned from my place all the way down to the main road on Tuesday with one of the road graders.  They always make sure we can get out when it snow if we need to.

Well I have now seen what the future will look like with all renewable energy. Currently Texas draws 25% of its power needs from solar and wind. Which means during this cold snap we are running on 75% power. It's not just that solar and wind farms are being built, it is the closing of the fossil fuel plants which is causing the problems. Pretty much the whole state is on rolling blackouts. We're one of the lucky ones, we are getting about 30 minutes to one hour of power every three hours. Only had to go fourteen hours straight without any. Many in Texas are going on their third day without. this is what free government money looks like, this is the result of what going after the money instead of the solution looks like. I hope the people of this state remember this and vote out any politician who is for "renewable" energy.

We got down to 1*, they said we would hit zero but we got lucky. To tell you the truth, I don't think there is that much difference between 1 and 0. We are up to 30 now and no more snow or ice on the way. Stores are wiped out, gasoline gone, roads a disaster, will probably take a week or more to get to normal. At least they have stopped talking about the damn virus.

We're hitting 70 today. Last week I saw an eagle and a buzzard the day after it snowed. To most this means nothing, but to those of us in the mountains it means 6 weeks to Spring.
As long as I've lived here this Old wives' tale has never failed us, just like snow on the blooming dogwood trees, signifying the end of Winter. FWIW, this will be one of our earliest Springs on record.
So instead of our late March winds transition into Spring, we'll be seeing winds in a couple of weeks and sunny days forward.

We will hit 56º then hold at about 50º day time the rest of the week.  Night time lows in the 30 to 34º.    All the snow is gone around up.  The last of the 2 to 3' on the back deck is all but gone, it will be gone by tonight.   60 miles away they have 1' of snow yet and it will be gone by Wed. as they will be getting 20+ mile hr. wind at 50º.

I awoke at 1:30 Am, sweating, it was like 40 outside and humid.
Today we hit 70, then get normal in the lower 60s for awhile. We may have a couple of more good storms, but I think for us anyway, Winter may be over early.

Looking good for our area also.  We are starting to stay in the 60º+ for the next 10 days.  Night time in the mid 35º+ so thing will start budding, Spring is on the way. Mostly sunny for the next 10 days.

I think Spring is coming on for me.  Don't see anything under 60º daytime for the next 10 days and night time is around 35 to 40º over the next 10 days.  Jetstream and Temperature looking good over the next 10 days.

Here in Norcal Sierra, Winter isn't over till we have snow on the dogwood blooms. Hell, they aren't even budding out yet.
But I think the  worst is over, this is just one of many small snow storms that will blow through this month, April should be nice.
