    One can hope!
Dammit! Still up, but I'm holding out hope it will freeze in place and rain will follow. That, or a tree hits it. We took a drive in the Razor, there are trees down everywhere, Powers off according to a neighbor and will probably be off for days according to PG&E.

Within 700' of my house, we counted about 20 trees down, 6 big ones, literally tipped over, some snapped off clean, but if it's like that here, the rest of the area must be a real mess, because we keep our forest clear, but there is a lot of empty acreage that doesn't get any care.

I don't give a shit, we're prepped and on solar, so let em suffer.

They do now....

I can hear them running a mile away up here, about 5 different types, all cheap gasoline noisy types.
I now have 5 diesel gensets now, just bought another, a Cummins Onan, brand new, the guy bought it for a business he has, but he needed a bigger one.
Has 250 hrs on it, not even broken in yet, he bought all the bells and whistles, remote start, etc, paid almost 10 grand for it, I got it for 4 grand delivered.

No, I didn't need it, but at that price, I could resist.

So out in the yard playing cleanup and it started sprinkling rain.  It was 55º out, by the time I could get into the house it turned into ice and the ground was all white.

Thanks for the heads up, I see it on the satellite, it's cold and heading right for me. I expected some snow in a few days, now I'm certain of it.

Well today I started watering my lawn.  Yep it's that time a year around my area.  Fields being plowed and watered so the dirt will not be blown away.  Starting about Monday I see 60º day time and 40º+ night time.  Time to start washing windows on the house for Spring.

Well yesterday I had to break down and cut the lawn for the first time.  LOL some areas were 6" tall.  I turned the water off the day before so it would not come on as we had a good wind of 25 mph.  The lawn was nice and dry and no problems cutting.

That and it was 80º out, G/W on the way    I think the good wife is going through a new change of life as she ask to have the AC turned up as she was cold.  Wow that would be nice.  I will not have to put on a sweatshirt just to come into the house.

Had to wait till dark because it was way too hot out to be that close to  the flame.
I know what's going to happen, the wife will want a huge lawn in the next couple of years and I'll be stuck mowing again. :glare:
