By the way, I got a call labeled "Code Red" on caller ID, almost ignored it, but before I could hang up, the voice said, that PG&E would be cutting power to the area due to dry North winds.
Of course it doesn't effect me being on solar, it's just more evidence that they haven't been maintaining the lines in cutting back trees.

  Will they buy everyone a new generator that don't have one and pay rent for them that do?

Well, I know when they turn the power back on, they won't pay for any damages incurred from a surge.
It's happened before, heard a class action suit was going on in Rocklin, like 10 thousand people had all kinds of damage, from TV to air conditioners.
Oh, and PG&E is raising rates, like 25% to pay for all the fires.

Today my front year @ 2:45PM is 115º.  If this keeps up I will have to start watering all areas in my yard for 45min. a day.  And Cal thinks they in a heat wave.

The Bay Area broke heat records yesterday, and this is an area that few have air conditioning because they seldom need it. And they were whining about it on the radio
I hit 89, but the humidity is the real culprit. It's coming off the equator, muggy as shit.

LOL  First day of Summer and it will only be 78º out.  Coldest day in the last 3 weeks.

Corn is waistline high around my area.  The old saying "Knee High By 4th of July" is now out the door.

Coolest summer in decades! We're in the mid 80s, have been for a few weeks, and before  that, downright cool, and our trend continues into August.

We were in the 80s, but the valley below was in the 100s. We really didn't hit summer till mid July, and it still hasn't gotten hot yet thanks to that low out in the ocean near you.
If this pattern holds due to El Nino`, we'll have a wet snowy early winter.

Wow!!  Last night about 2300hrs.  All hell broke loose rain, wind, thunder and lightning. We got about 1.5" of rain that a lot for our area. Thunder roll for about 2.5 hrs. and the say there was over 1500 lightning strikes, in and around our area.  Thank God for the rain that started first we had no fires.  Just burn spots all around.

Talk about G/Cooling and a light show.  Now my cat Boo is not a lap cat, but with this thunder she move from my computer table to my lap for over 1 hr.  Each time there was a long roll load thunder she would look up at me like to say what the hell are you doing.
