Oh my, I see G/W for next Sunday and Monday.  50º daytime, I may have to dig out my cut offs.

We may even get some rain for 3 hrs. on Friday.   Just in time for my December shower.  Now if I can just remember what I did with that bar of soap last month.
Good to see you warming up a bit. We've been in the 60s for the last 10+ days and will be for another week or two.
I'm not complaining, but it's as if Winter took a break all its own.

I see California keeps adding to the G/W with all the fires going on yet.  Do they need to add a fire tax?  A Fall and Winter tax should fix the problem.

Yesterday my good wife said she would like to go into town.  26º out side.  So off we go, going into town we have to go up over a hill l.684 ft.  So we get within 4 mile from the top and it start snowing, about two mile from the top she said let turn around and go home and said ok.  The next turnaround is 5 mile down the other side of the hill.  Before I get there she said it not snow now so let go into town.   So we did, I did not have the heart to tell her we had to go back that way to get home.   It was raining on both sides of the hill but on top it was snowing.  She only goes into town about every 2 or 3 months, so she needed the outing.   When we got home she said she would not be going into town again until around March or April.

We have our first snow, very light just a dusting to say the yard is white.  It's calling for rain but it's icing on the high ridge and some of the cold air is mixing with the rain so we getting some snow off and on.

It is calling for rain off and on for today and Friday.  So I my be able to get down the hill and go shopping on Friday.  It's calling for 34º today and tonight with rain off and on.  Friday is calling for 40º with rain off and on.  This week we have G/W, temps not below 32 day time.

Sitting 500' above everything but the Blue Mountains, you can see for miles and miles of white snow on the land.   I go outside even when it is overcast and my glass turn dark, I have to take them off so I can see in the house for about 10min.

I'm ok with up to 1.5' of snow but over that they can keep it back East.   :sneaky:    From about Dec. 18 until about Feb. is the coldest time of the years for us.  What is nice it can be 20º out there and if the sun is out it is great, as it feel like 70º+ in the sun.

Exactly! As long as you're in the sun it feels warm because the air is so dry.
I'm dreading February, I hate deep freezes. Oh sure, there may not be snow on the ground most of the month, but those chains you laid out to work with, are frozen solid to the ground, or anything left out in the open.

I do keep my garage between 55 and 60º in the Winter.
