Spring break in between storms lets people see how buildings are holding up. Yeah, there's a cabin under thar.

It's just after 4PM. My back yard is 63º and my front yard is 95º.
I can live with that.  It's BBQ time.

These were all pretty accurate, but only because the winds were steady up and down the valley at 30mph plus.
I didn't have the North compression wind the valley and foothills did, so I didn't get much above 60 and today will be much of the same.
I need the breezes to stop so I can spray again. Because I noticed yesterday all the places I missed when I sprayed last week.

I need the wind to stop also so I can spray.  It's been 10 to 30 MPH off and on for a week now.

I'm just glad I'm not getting the valley winds at the moment, my allergies are bad enough as it is.
I hate having to wear a filter just to be outside, and whatever it is in bloom, this is the one that really nails me.
My symptoms are braindead, just as if I was high, can't concentrate, stare at the monitor for periods of time lost, never to be recovered.
I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year, hate the spraying the most because  it takes a lot of time and money.

I have a large gravel parking area off to the side of the house that about 700' by 900' and about 1000' feet of driveway.  That I like to keep clean of everything year around.

I wish weeds were all that clog my drive. Every year (and some way worse than others,) my drive is nothing but Doug fir cones, all about the size of a child's fist and just as hard.
Step on them and they're like marbles under your feet, I've busted my ass many o time.
Luckily it's not the area you have to spray, it's just that the cones get driven down into my drive and if not removed, I literally lose all my gravel.

I only have windbreaking trees in front and along one end of the house.  I only have leave in the Fall.  With a good 40 to 50MP wind it done in no time with my new blower.  Just open the double wide gate.

I bought a blower strong enough to blow the cones, problem is, it blows the gravel too.
I've resorted to using the box scraper on the tractor, but that loosens the rock as well.
New rock every 2 years gets expensive at $400.0 for truck and transfer. At least the quarry is 5 miles away, considering hauling costs more than the rock.
The next closest quarry is Spreckels quarry about 15 miles away and a truck and transfer are just under a grand, though it's better rock being limestone is harder but dustier.

Well to day the wind was down and I was setting up to spray all the gravel areas.  When my neighbor call and ask if I had sprayed yet.  I said I was just setting up for that.  He said don't I have 250 gal.  I need to use up, so I can clean out my system.  He is set up to do a 15' wide path on one of his 4 wheel drive pick-ups.  He did in under 30 min. what would have taken me all after noon to do.   And I had NO clean up after it was all done.

W/underground is now up and running full.  I like the changes they made in Table.
