Quite impressive. That's today and part of tomorrow's weather as snow levels plummet.

Well we have had icing all day.  Talk about a Rottweiler walking very very slow.     Most of the time he runs circles around me.  I walk 100' and he runs 1/2 a mile around me, just bouncing around all the time.     He is just a pup yet at 3 years old.

Looks like you are about to get some of this warm wetter air for a short time, but depending, it could bring more snow as well.
Our levels are supposed to drop to around 4000', so I expect to see some flurries if anything.
Actually, the warm weather has been a nice break, but it only means it'll be a bad mosquito year come Spring.

Looks like 5 days of mostly sun coming up then 3 days of some rain.  But that could all change.      3 days of sun and the bees will start coming out of hibernation.

Same here, even claimed we'll be in the 60s?
If so, we're in for a false spring, and that usually means a bit of extended Winter.

Forget the false Spring. Yep, I'm in the 70 percentile range.
We're now at 73" of rain, with an all-time record of 110" during the gold rush, or when records started being kept.
Normal here is around 50" per year, so we're doing pretty good, but the valley is freaking out from all the runoff.

So what your telling me there will be no rain for me this summer.        Last year they planted the crops a month early.

Nope, probably be a bit wetter than average for the Westcoast.
Unfortunately, that means humid ass days and bugs, lots of freakin bugs. :glare:

We are going to get some of that rain you been talking about.  It's calling for rain over the next 8 days.  But not what you will be getting.   Also our snow is all but gone, it's only in areas the sun is not hitting much at all.

I must say my power bill ways only 50$ more this years then all the Winters before.   I was thinking it would be a lot more as there has been very little sun this Winter and we had a lot of days under 20º day time this last billing month.

Oddly enough I've actually enjoyed the wet weather and clouds.
I hate just clouds, but if it comes with torrential rains, then I'm fine with it.
Today was actually 62 freakin warm degrees, took the Razer down to the creek, now a river from all the rain, but tomorrow clouds up, and then rain back to rain for the rest of the month.

Damn your weather forecasters are great if they can tell you the rest of the month.      We have ice pellets or rain.  But after tonight we will night time temps of 32º or above for the next 9 days.

I figure rain till the 24th, then clearing and by the end of February, we will see our first hint of Spring, though today was pretty close.
With the bright sunshine, I could see all the new grass and weeds coming up and know I'll be spraying in a few weeks.
One of the reasons I don't look forward to Spring, too much to do to get ready for summer.

Another 5" of rain, now at 80 for the season, wind howling around 50+ mph on the tree tops, thunder and lightning, got no sleep because of the wind and the fact I sleep with the window open all night.
I'll have to take a tour of the area when the sun comes up, I'm certain all the roads are blocked by downed trees and limbs.
According to the flow charts, the American river looks to be about 30' deep, from a normal 6 average where we cross to leave the mountains.

We got some rain about 0.05 in 24hrs.  Wind top out at 36 mph on my wind gage.  My hearing aids made it sound like a 747 on take off, when I am by a window.   It cleared out most of the tumbleweed.
