Done!

If I had city people visiting my property, their first concern should be how much I can get for the gas I siphon from their tanks as I overcharge them for running barefoot across my lawn.

No, I take that back. It's ten degrees above freezing and if city people want to run barefoot through light snow on my yard, then let them. I'll even donate pails of water to rinse down with after their romp. I need the upper arm exercise, emptying pails at high speed.

I find a electric fuel pump works great for that.

I have a thousand Henny Youngman jokes to fit this occasion, but the truth here is, it took me seven years of pleading before she married me and we have been together now nearly twenty years. I don't drag her into this stuff, much, mainly because she's too smart to get mired in partisan politics. I, unfortunately, am not.

  You got it, dear.

I notice she didn't argue when I said I wasn't smart enough to avoid partisan politics.

Quiller, You've only been married 20 years?  You folks are just puppies, just getting started.

It's unbelievable how green thing get in a desert area.  We had light rain about two days a week and heavy rainfall one day a week.  For the last 3 week with day time temps around 40/50.º  My yard is all brown yet but everything around us is looking velvet green right now.  I will enjoy it now as soon it will be all gone and the only thing green will be where you water.

Everything here in the forest is greening up, the ground has a 3" growth, but if I don't hit it now with weed killer, it'll be 3' tall by April, brown and a fire hazard by July.
So here I am mixing Roundup and Brushkill in diesel and spraying about 5 acres of rugged terrain with the Razer, and I'll have to repeat it about three times before April.

That's about 50 gallons of mix. This is one of those things I love as much as doing firewood. :glare:

It's calling for 78º again today.   :tounge:  It will get 110º on my back deck again. Will be turning on the water for the yard and trees today.  Flower coming up all over the place.  You would think it was Summer time and not just Spring.

Putting my Winter clothes away and bring out shorts and t shirts for the next 7 to 8 months.

Will be bring out the riding lawn mower and cut the grass for the first time this year.  I fertilized last week as it was calling for rain so it's green up nicely from the Winter time sleep.  Most of the tilling and planting is done around my area and the farming circles are turning green all around us.

I'm looking at the Doug fir and pine and seeing pollen bombs just waiting to paint the forest gold.
Yes, it's going to be a banner year for allergy. :glare:

Ugh...that stuff is nasty.  It's hard to wash off.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

Exactly!!! And I have a huge solar array on the roof, and if I don't scrub it off, I lose 30% output daily.
It's probably the one thing I hate about Spring, otherwise, it's beautiful.

Snow fell today for about an hour, so thickly we had almost pure whiteout conditions. It's almost gone now, but for a while it was ALMOST the winter we've scarcely had.

Michigan. If you don't like the weather, just wait 10 minutes.

Ugggh, I know what you mean.
Here we are, having the most beautiful weather all year, with 75 deg. 15% humidity, light Southerly breeze, the smell of Madrone in bloom, but no matter how much I want this to last, folklore proves correct every year.

Winter isn't over till it snows on the Dogwood blooms, and those are still a month away.
Yep, we still have at least one more blast of Winter to come.

Cut the grass on Sat.   and started watering this A.M. at 0500.  Round #2 for me will be, 77º today and 85º by Thursday.  I should have my sun tan for this year by Monday the 11th.
