Look like we could see some snow on Dec. 2 or 3 there is a big blast of Arctic air dropping down on us for two days.  Looks like on the 3 of Dec. it will be dropping down into your area.  We may not get snow but will be getting 1 to 2 ft. in the passes around 3000 ft.  It a little early for snow for us if we get it at all.  Also looks like some strong winds around your area with the jet stream dropping just below you.  Right now we have had ice collecting on the trees for the last 2 days.  Just from the moisture in the air from the river, we have not been over 32º for two days no.    ST keep the wood stove burning.

Woke up at 4:00 this morning to rain.  Temp is around 36 so will be ok for now.  Walks, the first thing I did was replenish the wood stove...then coffee.     Toy

Hmm... did you make coffee on the wood stove?  I always enjoyed doing that in the Winter when we had a wood stove.   So you know we had a dusting of snow enough to cover the deck, sidewalk and driver way pad so you could see your footprints.   So we had our first snow for the year.      Did I tell you I hate city driver.  Going to town today there was 4 cars in the ditch along the way and one over turned car.  What will it be like when there 1" or 2" of snow.

Hope you had a safe trip into town.  When I got home tonight, around 5:45 it was already 28.  It will be very cold night on the mountain.  Toy

Had a safe trip home ST.   The sun was out and it was 36º, the snow/ice was all gone.   Now it is 7 P.M. and it 22º right now and it's call for 14º tonight and 9º Wed. night.   It is nights like this I am happy my wife makes quilts for a hobby.

Yeah, saw that crap, not ready for it yet. it's 17 out right now, and probably won't get much above freezing.
Looks like it hits you first though.

No frozen pipes YET...

They changed our forecast to over a foot of snow for Fri and Sat. which is fine, ST won't have to drive in it.
Or should I say, I won't have to tow her out of it?

Solar will not have to pull me from any ditches this year.  At he insistence I went to my boss yesterday and asked for Friday off.

My sister in Arkansas is prepping for this storm to hit them.  Schools have already closed in her area in anticipation.  Last year kids and teachers got trapped at school for several hours.   We live 2,000 miles apart and are both getting ready to deal with this storm.  Toy

Off to work for today... Tpy

Got 14" to 2'+ of snow, depending on where you stand, the snow was blowing all around.
The sky just cleared, which is unfortunate, because the temps will plummet, we already had two broken water lines yesterday to fix.

No snow for us, it was falling all around us within 75 miles.  It's 10º as of this posts.  It is calling for -6º tonight.  I checked out the snow thrower yesterday in the A.M. and it started with no problems.  I like the new electric start plug it into 110 and let her crank.   So I will see if I get to use it this year.  LOL   Hmm... you need to take ST's wood stove and put it under the house.
