We don't even get 70% humidity at night even when it is raining.
Rain is 100% humidity.
You need a new hygrometer.

Yeah, about the only time we get 100% humidfity is when a cloud sits on the house, and even though it's not raining, you get drenched in no time at all.

I prefer the snow in the winter, 0% humidity, I love that!

I have a brand new two stage snow thrower that I got for winter last year.  I did not use it last year as the most snow we got was 1' or less each time.  So I did it by hand for something to do.   We will see if I get to use it this year.

I think you just might, more than you want to, looks like an early, cold winter for the west coast.
I'm buying a bulldozer, the tractor is fine, but when it ices up, nothing moves up the mountain.

This way I can park it outside my new wrought iron gate, because idiots don't know how to drive in the snow and slide back down onto my property and this year would smash a brand new $7000.0 gate, but with an 8 ton dozer in the way, I don't think the gate will be an issue.

Walks...
Well that storm brought summer to a screeching halt.
Nearly 2" of rain over night, and 39 deg. Snow on the crest, and today was beautiful and sunny with a high of 63 in the sun.
I'm assuming you got hit with the same front?
We will be lucky if we break the 80s again the rest of the year, but I'm fine with that, it ended our fire season.

Hmm.. We were 75º today.  The storm went right around us yesterday and last night, not a drop of rain.  Today about 1700 we got a shower for 15 min but its calling for rain over night at bout 40%.  It is calling for rain off and on for the next 3 days.  The lowest we had is 52º.  We should be back in the 80º by next Saturday.

The boys got the last of the hay bailed today before it started with the showers.  So that is the last of the bailing for this year.  The bails run 1800 to 2000 pounds.   They will start bring the equipment back to the shop this week, then take a week off before start working on the equipment.

Solar, look like the high 20º to low 30º for you at night.  Is snow building on the top yet?

It did not look good for you.  I am not look for snow for 2+ months yet.  But I could be wrong this year.  I think this Winter the snow thrower will see it first workout.   :woot:

Did you get snow last night?  Looks like that cold front coming down will be pushing the Jet Stream down and will be brings heavy rains for Washington and Oregon coast lines big time.  Some of the Jet Stream will be pushing rain down into your area it look like.  It is saying we have 10% chance of rain.
