Looked like your area had problems with run off. Nice to know it all goes down hill. I had two maintenance men back about 30 years ago that would take off after a big rain. On the same day and go mining with a portable vacuum dredge they made. They did not make much but they were always looking for that one big hit.
Got down to 17 deg yesterday, never got above freezing all day, woke to a heat wave of 21 this morn, I hope we warm up before the snow comes, otherwise it will take weeks to melt away.
We hit 44º last night, day time was 47º. we are in a Banana Belt area, snow all around us within 60 to 80 miles of us. But all we are getting is a little rain off and on. Just one day of snow that lasted about 2 hrs and was gone in 6 hrs last week. In the sun it was 55º yesterday. If it don't get cooled soon I may have to cut the grass.
Oh, and it loks like you might be getting some snow soon, check out the satellite pic.http://www.intellicast.com/Storm/Hurricane/PacificSatellite.aspx?animate=true
I look it that every night before going to bed and when I first get up.
Same here, watch the animation several times a day. Here's another I like using. You can do your own area.http://weather.weatherbug.com/CA/California%20City-weather/weather-maps/temperature-map.htmlClick the pic/video at the top of the page and watch the farmhouse at night. http://www.eldoradocountyweather.com/forecast/localtowns/placerville10day.php
LOL I like the farmhouse site. But I can not get it for my area.
Does this get close? You can enter your zip code in upper right hand corner.http://www.eldoradocountyweather.com/weather/hw3.php?config=&pass=&dpp=&forecast=zandh&config=&place=olympia&state=wa&country=us
I could get my area ok, but just not the farmhouse. lol
Yeah, I noticed that when I tried to find your area. I love the way you can slide the time bar and see the weather for a certain time of day or night, but I noticed it doesn't seem to match their own forecast.Wonder which is the correct one?
