I can report that we are having the good before winter comes in tonight,lol...66 right now.... but your cold front will be marching thru in a few hours and then it will be winter, lol. I'm ready,,,,
Bundle up, we hit the teens last night.
lol,,,oh grrreeeaaaaatttt, lol. Well I am ready for it,,,wood ready,,,wool clothes ready,,, ugh I was so hoping no "teens" just yet,lol
Last night as well, looks like a five day cold spell. The upside is the days are bright and sunny.
Yep,,it is bright and sunny... chilly outside. Got the wood burner fired up on low right now,,,, I'm thinking small fore for the rst of the week,lol....
We had the wood-stove going for days. Decided to let it go out last night. It is a good opportunity to clean it out before the next cold wave hits. Stay warm and dry Elfie! Toy
I saw the satellite pic the last few days and thought it looked pretty serious, even thought it was coming here, but the local forecasters seem to think it will miss us, but I don't.Though were ready for snow, I don't want it yet.
I hope you got everything covered and buttoned up tight, looks like you are getting our weather from the last 24 hrs.We probably got 3+" and lots of wind, warm though, right around 48 deg.But it was the heavy downpours that really overrun the downspouts and ditches, as well as cut new trenches in the road.Just looked at the satellite photo, looks like it's on you as I type.http://www.intellicast.com/Storm/Hurricane/PacificSatellite.aspx?animate=true
Woke up at 5:30 to serious wind and 73 degree weather, but looking at the satellite, we are about to get nailed with a 50 degree drop in temp, all at once.
We are coming up to 50º + today. We are getting very little of all the rain thats coming through Washington and Oregon.
Were 40 degrees colder than this time yesterday and clearing skies for the day, but those last few days of heavy rain gave us about 13" of rain.I just might go down and do a little mining.,
